In Europe, they have lost their sanity, trying to build an anti-Russian policy. This was announced on November 6 by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin, commenting on the reaction to the diesel deal between Russia and the United States.

"Europe is generally irrational about everything that Russia is doing and about energy cooperation in general," the deputy minister said in an interview with TASS.

According to him, the Europeans have condemned themselves to dependence not on Russia, but on other — and only a few — countries. At the same time, he noted that the United States behaves like pragmatists in this matter.

"And the Europeans, it seems, have already lost their minds," the diplomat concluded.

On the same day, Pankin noted that European countries are jealous of the United States because of the diesel fuel deal with Russia. According to the diplomat, in the context of the energy crisis provoked by various events, European countries are "shooting themselves not only in the foot, but also in all other places."
