Military personnel of the United Kingdom and other Western countries, if sent to Ukraine after the termination of the special military operation, will have the right to open fire on Russian forces. This was reported on November 3 by The Guardian newspaper, citing Western officials.

"It is obvious that we will protect our forces," the source said.

According to the newspaper, the planned mission will be carried out outside the NATO structure. In addition, European states intend to ensure its operation without dependence on American technologies and systems, including Starlink satellite communications.

In preparation for the possible deployment of forces, the Exercise Koalicja international exercises will be held in Poland in November with the participation of 2.8 thousand military personnel from 11 countries. France will send 1,500 people to the maneuvers, while the United Kingdom will send 300.

One of the main tasks of the potential contingent will be to assist in the restoration and strengthening of the Ukrainian army after the completion of its military operations. At the same time, foreign units are supposed to be deployed at a considerable distance from the front line.

On October 26, Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov called on the West to understand that Moscow and Minsk are ready to repel any potential threat. He recalled that Russian tactical nuclear weapons and Oreshnik missile systems are based on the territory of the state where he heads the diplomatic mission. The corresponding statement was made by him two days after British Defense Minister Wes Streeting instructed his colleagues to prepare the kingdom for a possible armed conflict, which allegedly could occur within just over 1,000 days.

Meanwhile, on October 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin once again indicated that the Russian Federation was not going to attack anyone in 2029, 2030, or 2050. Some time later, on October 22, he expressed the hope that the West would understand that it is necessary to live amicably with Russia, as this primarily meets the interests of its peoples.
