The owners of the World of Quests website, whose Ukrainian branches could raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), may face criminal liability and business confiscation. This was announced to Izvestia on October 27 by Pavel Zaitsev, Chairman of the Moscow Bar Association.

"If it is established that the owners are transferring funds to the accounts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then from that moment on they can be prosecuted, the accounts can be arrested, and they too. But by a court decision, the funds and the entire enterprise can be confiscated for state income," he said.

At the same time, as Izvestia found out, the co-owners of the business settled in Amsterdam and purchased real estate there. In particular, Artyom and Anna Yarmilko bought an apartment in the De Fred premium residential complex in February 2022. It is estimated that its value could exceed €1 million. At the same time, Russian companies associated with the project continue to generate hundreds of millions of rubles in revenue.

It is clarified that the Ukrainian website of the "World of Quests" looks almost identical to the Russian one. It uses the same engine and layout, as well as a favicon shared with Russian portals. The platform collects information about events in 20 cities of Ukraine, including Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Lviv.

Earlier, an announcement was posted on the website of the Lviv division stating that 10% of the proceeds from quests are directed to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, some of the entertainment presented was devoted to the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (OUN-UPA) (recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

Mir Quesov S LLC, in response to a request from Izvestia, denies any connection with Ukrainian projects. The company stated that they operate exclusively in Russia and have no branches abroad. Co-owner Igor Bobb confirmed that he had previously managed a Ukrainian domain. mir-kvestov.com.ua However, according to him, he lost access to it after the start of a special military operation.

Andrei Popov, a reserve lieutenant colonel and a veteran of the Alpha antiterrorism group, told Izvestia on October 27 that open sources, information about the founders and management, as well as the organizations' connections with foreign structures can be analyzed to identify Russian companies that can direct funds to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, public statements by representatives of companies in support of the Ukrainian authorities may become an additional reason for verification.
