The World of Quests, the largest aggregator in Russia and the CIS countries, belongs to Russian relocators, as well as citizens of Ukraine, who could help raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine through their project, Izvestia found out. In Russia, in 2025 alone, the parent company earned more than 700 million rubles. The World of Quests is represented in at least 16 cities of our country, as well as in Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and some European countries. The beneficiaries have long since left Russia and own real estate and other assets in the Netherlands and the United States. How this business works, who owns it and how the funds can get into the armed forces — in our material.

The largest aggregator

The World of Quests portal positions itself as the largest thematic entertainment aggregator on the market in 16 cities of Russia, as well as in the CIS and European countries. From the information on the main website, it follows that it combines dozens of services with similar information under its brand.

According to the "Contour.Focus", the ecosystem of the "World of Quests" includes several Russian LLC companies with common founders: "Entertainment Workshop", "Quest as a gift" and "Quest World". The latter is currently in liquidation. Its founders are Artem Yarmilko, a citizen of Ukraine, his wife Anna and Igor Bobb (both Russian citizens). The company's legal successor was LLC "ISS" ("The World of quests With"), which belongs only to Igor Bobb and Anna Yarmilko. By the end of 2025, its officially declared revenue exceeded 700 million rubles.

The Dutch holding company Escapy B.V., which manages similar projects in Europe, is directly related to the "World of Quests", Izvestia has established. Its founder is the same Artem Yarmilko. On April 19, 2023, he became the director of the company, replacing Alexandra Zmovik. She, in turn, is the wife of Vadim Zmovik, who is also associated with the "World of Quests".

A network of websites and assistance to the Armed Forces

According to data from web analytics tools, it is the Zmovik family that owns the network of Belarusian sites of the World of Quests aggregator, and may also own relevant Ukrainian resources. So, the email address zmovik@gmail.com It is listed in the contacts of three thematic Belarusian portals.

In addition, Vadim Zmovik is listed as the founder or co-founder of five companies in Russia.: "Claustrophobia online", "Claustrophobia offline", "Questinfo", "Region Quest", "Guild of quests". Izvestia estimated that in 2025 alone they brought him over 130 million rubles in revenue. At the same time, in 2024, Region-Quest alone earned 206.9 million rubles.

The website of the Ukrainian division of the World of Quests looks exactly like the Russian one - it uses the same engine and design, and also has a favicon in common with portals from the Russian Federation, Izvestia found out.

The World of Quests in Ukraine aggregates data on events in 20 cities, including Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Lviv.

Earlier, an announcement of the Mission quest was posted on the company's website in Lviv.: We are from Ukraine" from a local organizer who promised to send 10% of the proceeds from each game to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the same city, the World of Quests promotes entertainment related to Stepan Bandera (he was the head of the OUN-UPA, an organization recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation): the quest, which is now known as the Secret Archive, was previously called the Bandera Cabinet. However, judging by the description, the players are still invited to find the archive of the leader of the Ukrainian collaborators before he fell into the hands of the NKVD, and thereby save the associates of the nationalist leader from capture.

A comfortable life

Judging by the addresses of the rented housing, the family of Artyom and Anna Yarmilko lived in the United States for a long time, renting houses and apartments in different parts of California. One of the last known addresses is a house on Pine Needle Street in Oakland. He still appears in the documents — the Tododo Group company is registered here, the manager of which is Artem Yarmilko.

From 2016 to 2022, it was Todo Group that managed the World of Escapes website, an international catalog aggregator of reality quests and quest rooms. Then the American structure faded into the background. Currently, the operator of the site is the already mentioned Dutch Escapy B.V. The transfer of business to the Dutch jurisdiction coincided with the relocation of the Yarmilko family itself.

There is a lot of indirect evidence for this. For example, in Telegram chats dedicated to life in the Netherlands, Anna Yarmilko asks typical newcomer questions.: how to get to a local doctor, how to exchange a Russian driver's license for a Dutch one, and how to fill out a tax return. The correspondence mentions their own housing in the Amsterdam Zuid area, as well as the school and kindergarten that the children attended. In total, Anna Yarmilko is a member of at least 10 Russian—speaking communities in Benelux, from a flea market and a group for parents to the Business Benelux and the What? club. Where? When?" in the Netherlands and a chat for padel fans.

After the start of her campaign, Anna Yarmilko began searching for the Ukrainian flag, apparently to demonstrate her political position in Amsterdam at the pro-Ukrainian rallies that were taking place at that time.

Anna herself, as follows from her social networks, hails from Kirov, and in her maiden name was Vershinina. She graduated from MGIMO in 2014, and then became the winner of the FLEX competition of the US Department of State and went to study in the USA under this program. Her page on the VKontakte social network says that in 2016 she graduated from the Hult International Business School in San Francisco (USA).

Izvestia also found out that a week before the start of their work, in February 2022, the Yarmilko couple bought an apartment in the premium class residential complex De Fred on Fred-Ruskestrat Street, a few hundred meters from the Zeidas business district (supporting documents are available to the editorial staff). This is the Amsterdam equivalent of Moscow City, where the offices of banks, law firms and international corporations are located. Property prices in the area suggest that the housing cost the couple a little more than €1 million.

The fate of Yarmilko's partner, Vadim Zmovik, is no less closely traced. Judging by the correspondence in the chat rooms, he also settled in Amsterdam, in the area of the Olympic Stadium, which, like Zeidas, is located in the southern part of the city. His wife Alexandra announced in one of the Telegram chats that her son goes to the Dutch pre-school. Vadim Zmovik himself talked in chat rooms about the transition to tax residency in the Netherlands and the use of "30% steering" — benefits for specialists who move to the country at the invitation of their employer. It allows you to avoid paying income taxes on part of your salary for several years.

Izvestia has contacted ISS LLC, Artyom and Anna Yarmilko, Vadim Zmovik and Igor Bobb for comments. The company (its founders are Igor Bobb and Anna Yarmilko) explained to Izvestia that they did not know about the "unified digital infrastructure" with a portal in Ukraine.

"The World of Quests C LLC company conducts its activities exclusively on the territory of the Russian Federation, which is confirmed by the data of regulated reporting sent to the Federal Tax Service and Skolkovo. The company does not have information about the "unified digital infrastructure" in other countries," Anastasia Nedumova, PR director of the World of Quests aggregator, said in a response.

She added that Mir Quest S LLC has no branches abroad. The organization also explained that the World of Quests digital platform is part of a research project, the results of which are being commercialized in the Russian Federation.

"The company does not operate in any other countries and is not affiliated with any legal entities in Ukraine," Nedumova said.

Igor Bobb, in response to an editorial request, stated that the "World of quests With" does not have a single infrastructure with domains in other countries. At the same time, he confirmed that he had previously managed the domain. mir-kvestov.com.ua , but lost access to it after the start of the special operation. As proof, he attached a screenshot of the correspondence with the Ukrainian domain registrar.

"There is no single digital or legal infrastructure uniting projects in the listed countries. On the territory of the Russian Federation, the activities are carried out by LLC "World of Quests With", of which I am a co-owner. World of Quests C LLC has its own unique infrastructure and operational management," Bobb said.

Anna or Artyom Yarmilko, as well as Vadim Zmovik, had not responded to the editorial's request by the time the material was published.

Financing of terrorism

In Russia, persons involved in such support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine may face criminal proceedings under the article on financing terrorism if it is proved that they were beneficiaries of both a Russian and a Ukrainian company at the same time, said Dmitry Krasnov, an honored lawyer of Russia.

— The fact that people have businesses both there and here is not a crime. They can take it anywhere. Financing must be proved, for example, by our intelligence data, downloads of funds transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from accounts controlled by them, and so on," Krasnov said.

In this case, the investigator initiates a criminal case, and the accounts of the Russian legal entity and assets in the country are seized. The charges are filed in absentia, after which the materials are submitted to the court. He examines the case in the absence of the accused and passes a verdict, on the basis of which it is possible to foreclose on their Russian assets, Krasnov explained. At the expense of these funds, by court decision, the damage caused to the Russian Federation is compensated, and the defendants can be convicted.

There have already been precedents in Russia when, according to the claims of the Prosecutor General's Office, businessmen were accused of extremism and financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and their assets were turned into state income. In particular, the factories of Evgeny Chernyak's Global Spirits alcohol holding (the Khortytsia and Morosha brands), enterprises of Igor Kolomoisky's JKX Oil & Gas group, as well as Macfa pasta manufacturers and the Roshen confectionery factory in Lipetsk were seized.

In the spring of 2026, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow recognized venture investor Alexander Galitsky and his international fund Almaz Capital Partners as an extremist association: Galitsky's property worth more than 8 billion rubles and related assets, including the CarPrice service, were turned into state revenue. The investor himself denied the charges.

For the legal assessment of the World of Quests aggregator with Ukraine and fees for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is important to establish who exactly organized the fees, where the money was sent, and what role Russian business could play in this.
