Bordyuzha announced Kiev's attempts to draw the EU into a direct conflict with Russia
Ukraine is trying to involve the European Union in a direct conflict with Russia by staging provocations under a false flag on European territory. This opinion was expressed on October 21 by Nikolai Bordyuzha, the former head of the Russian Security Council and the presidential administration.
"Let's not forget that Ukraine, through its special services, is purposefully trying to involve European countries in a direct armed conflict with Russia. They are conducting operations under a false flag in order to blame everything on the Russian special services," Bordyuzha said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to Bordyuzha, Kiev is striving to achieve more active and direct participation of the United States and the European Union in the conflict with Russia. He also noted that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, had repeatedly spoken in his statements about Russia's alleged impending attack on Europe, thereby, according to the former head of the Russian Security Council, pushing European countries to engage in armed conflict.
The Politico newspaper reported on October 19 that NATO countries began discussing the need for military equipment and financing in the event of an alleged possible conflict with Russia. At the same time, the administration of US President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of reducing the American military presence in Europe. Such a move could lead to a shortage of NATO forces and important military resources, including tanker aircraft, long-range missiles, and reconnaissance and surveillance equipment, the newspaper notes.
On October 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation was not going to attack anyone in 2029, 2030, or 2050. The Head of State stressed that if Russia is faced with aggression, it will be forced to respond.
