A number of Russian pensioners will receive payments for November ahead of schedule
Some Russian pensioners will receive November payments earlier than usual due to the celebration of National Unity Day. The money for those who usually receive a pension on November 4 will be transferred to bank cards on November 3. This was announced on October 13 by the press service of the Social Fund of Russia.
"The early pension for November will be transferred to the cards on November 3. Payments will be made to those who usually receive funds on November 4th. Starting from November 5, the delivery of pensions through banks will resume according to the standard schedule," RIA Novosti quoted the message as saying.
The early transfer will affect all pensioners who receive payments through banks. The money will be received automatically, there is no need to apply to the Social Fund.
The schedule of pension delivery via Russian Post may also change. Postmen will start distributing payments on November 3, and it will be possible to receive money at the cash desks of post offices from the same date. In some cases, pensions scheduled for November 4 will be received as early as November 1.
The delivery of pensions via the post office will last until November 25. You can specify the time frame for receiving payments at your bank or at the Russian Post office.
On the same day, Vladislav Grib, Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, proposed doubling the fixed old-age pension payment from the age of 70, rather than from 80, as currently envisaged. He justified this by increasing the cost of medicines, spa treatment and other health maintenance measures for pensioners with age.
