An elderly couple was robbed and stripped during the riots in Paris
Unknown assailants attacked elderly spouses during the pogroms in Paris, taking away their belongings and clothes. This was reported by Entrevue magazine on Sunday, October 18.
The victims are over 80 years old. During the protest actions, the attackers stole personal property and part of the wardrobe from the pensioners, leaving them on the street practically without clothes.
The incident was recorded in the area of Republic Square, which has become one of the centers of demonstrations.
The protests in France began at the end of September with demonstrations by high school students in the Ile-de-France metropolitan region due to problems in the field of education. Subsequently, the actions spread to other regions of the country. The French BFMTV channel reported on October 17 that farmers, climate activists and former members of the Yellow Vests movement had joined large-scale protests by students and schoolchildren in France, and the total number of demonstrators exceeded 500 thousand people.
