Starting from April 1, 2027, social pensions will be indexed for almost 3.5 million Russians. This was announced on October 16 by Valery Ryazansky, Chairman of the Presidium of the central board of the All-Russian Public Organization Union of Pensioners of Russia.

"The indexation of social pensions will affect 3.491 million people. Almost the majority of them, the vast majority are unemployed pensioners," he said.

Ryazansky noted in a conversation with RIA Novosti that we are talking about Russian citizens who have not accumulated the required amount of pension points and do not have sufficient insurance experience to receive an old-age pension.

In addition, certain categories of beneficiaries are eligible for payments under the stipulated increase. These include people with disabilities (including children with disabilities and those who were disabled in childhood) in the absence of work experience, as well as minors left without a breadwinner.

Lawyer Emil Khalimov told Izvestia on October 15 that fathers in the Russian Federation can count on tax deductions, property tax benefits, early retirement and other support measures. He recalled that starting in 2026, the employer's assistance at the birth of a child of up to 1 million rubles per parent is not subject to personal income tax (personal income tax), and it is worth agreeing on it before giving birth.

Thus, the birth benefit is 28,450.45 rubles. A father can take parental leave for up to three years, and it is beneficial if he earns more than his wife. The payout is calculated from his earnings and reaches 83,021.92 rubles. Since 2024, it has been maintained, even if the father goes out full-time.
