The Ministry of Education announced the introduction of unified textbooks in colleges starting in 2027

Starting from September 1, 2027, organizations of secondary vocational education (SPE) will switch to using unified state textbooks in six general education subjects. This was announced on November 7 by the Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.

"Starting from September 1, 2027, unified state textbooks for vocational education will be introduced," Kravtsov confirmed in an interview with TASS.

It is specified that we are talking about textbooks on social studies, Russian language, literature, chemistry, physics and biology.

The educational system relies on traditional values and discipline, and experts are arguing whether such an approach will benefit children.

On September 1, Kravtsov announced that Russian schools had completely switched to unified state history textbooks. In addition, a new subject appeared in the program — "Spiritual and moral culture of Russia".
