In France, unknown people tried to set fire to a school during classes
A group of unknown people entered the Mistral Lyceum in the French commune of Frens near Paris and tried to set a fire during training sessions. This was reported on November 6 by the newspaper Le Parisien.
According to the newspaper, the first fire alarm went off at about 10:00 local time (12:00 Moscow time). About half an hour later, several outsiders entered the building and set off fireworks. No one was injured in the explosion.
After that, the attackers began to set fire to toilet paper and trash cans. The police officers who arrived managed to stop their actions, and they also extinguished the fire on their own.
The lyceum administration organized the evacuation of students and staff. Before leaving the building, the students were gathered in the courtyard of the educational institution. After the incident, the lyceum's management switched classes to a remote format at least until noon on Saturday, November 7. According to the newspaper, the suspects fled the scene. It has not yet been possible to detain them.
The day before, the newspaper Le Figaro reported that amid mass protests in France, unknown people entered the territory of the Lyceum Francoise de Tournfeuil and started a fire using pyrotechnic devices. As a result of the fire, classrooms and reception facilities were significantly damaged.
