A check was launched in Teriberka after the disappearance of a man at sea
An inspection was organized in the village of Teriberka in the Murmansk region after a wave swept two people into the sea, one of whom has not yet been found. This was reported on November 6 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
"A procedural check is being conducted on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the Maks messenger says.
It is specified that as part of the inspection, investigators will clarify the circumstances of the incident, after which they will make an appropriate procedural decision.
The fact that the wave carried away two tourists to the Barents Sea became known earlier that day. A source told Izvestia that a 32-year—old girl managed to escape — she was hospitalized in serious condition - and a 37-year-old man is still being searched.
