Pilot Vitaly, who evacuated the body of a dead hunter in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, told Izvestia on November 5 about the most difficult flights in his profession and why tourists often create dangerous situations themselves.

"It's just that even forecasters warn that the weather will be bad, but we need to leave urgently. There is no need for haste in our work. But people were taken away and rescued from the mountains with fractures," he said in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Stanislav Grigoriev.

Another problem is the unprepared tourists. According to Vitaly's experience, 80% of people go to dangerous places without understanding what they might encounter on the spot.

"They go where they are told: there are bears there, they go. We were in Gornoaltaysk with us. <...> Tourists came, well, about 20 people, all young. And the three of us are sitting in the carriage, having dinner. They're also sitting next to each other at a table. And there's a girl who says, "Who are you?" - "And we, we say, are the ones who will fly to rescue you tomorrow." The two girls didn't go the next day. <...> We don't dissuade. We say that there is," he said with a smile.

On November 5, the Izvestia film crew took part in a unique operation to raise the body of a hunter who had been mauled by a bear. It turned out to be difficult and quite risky, each stage was captured. In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, rescuers evacuated by helicopter a hunter who had been in the taiga for a week after the death of his partner as a result of a bear attack. The surviving man does not complain about his health condition. He was taken to the local department of the Investigative Committee for questioning.
