In the French city of Ajaccio on the island of Corsica, an explosive device went off at the office of the Corsica Linea ferry company. As a result, the building and two cars were damaged. This was reported on November 5 by France 24 TV channel.
"On Wednesday night, an explosive device went off in front of the headquarters of the Corsica Linea shipping company in Ajaccio, damaging the facade and two cars parked nearby," the publication says.
The incident occurred at about 02:00 local time (04:00 Moscow time). A glass display case was smashed in the building. The police have launched an investigation into the damage to property with the use of dangerous means.
The representatives of the company declined to comment on the incident. A source close to the investigation attributed the incident to a conflict in the company. At the same time, he noted that the use of an explosive device in the framework of such a confrontation would be a new development of the situation.
A snorkeling pleasure boat caught fire on October 30 after an explosion in Gamat Bay in Bali, with four tourists and one guide on board. Presumably, it occurred due to a faulty battery. It was clarified that the captain of the ship suffered burns to his legs as a result of the fire. He was taken to the emergency department of the regional hospital.
