Ferrari has distributed the entire planned circulation of its first Luce electric car in 2027. Despite the fact that deliveries to customers have not yet begun, new customers who wish to purchase the new product will now have to wait at least until 2028. This was stated by the company's CEO Benedetto Vigna, Motor1 reports on November 5.

According to the head of Ferrari, the Luce project is developing according to schedule. The first cars will be on the roads by the end of 2026, and the main deliveries to customers will begin in 2027. The company does not disclose the volume of planned production and Luce sales targets.

The head of Ferrari noted that the company has held more than 50 Luce private presentations around the world, as well as five public screenings. According to Vigny, getting to know the car in person helped potential buyers better understand its features. In the first quarter of 2027, Ferrari plans to organize international test drives for media representatives, after which potential customers will have the opportunity to test the electric car, which should further increase interest in the novelty.

Luce is not the only Ferrari model that has already formed a queue. The entire circulation planned for 2027 has also been distributed among customers, and some of them will have to wait for delivery until 2028. In the United States, the initial cost of the electric coupe will be $560.8 thousand, which is more than $120 thousand more than the price of the Purosangue gasoline crossover with a V12 engine.

The Ferrari Luce became the most discussed car on the Web at the end of May and received a barrage of criticism from fans of the brand, which was even joined by former Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo, as well as Italian Deputy Prime Minister of Transport Matteo Salvini. The presentation of the model took place on May 26.

As reported on August 16, the Ferrari Luce went under the hammer during Monterey Auto Week (USA) for $40 million, despite the fact that it was initially estimated at $1.1 million. According to media reports, 87-year-old American billionaire Herbert Wertheim became the buyer of the first production electric car brand Ferrari.
