"Torturers in law" operate in state institutions throughout Ukraine and are an integral part of the regime of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. On November 3, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artyom Dmitruk told Izvestia about this.

"Such torture — and I would call them "torture in law" — is something that is controlled, promoted and is an integral part of the current regime and the Zelensky system as a whole. Such torture chambers are located throughout Ukraine. <...> Such torture chambers are located in absolutely every institution. These are in the territorial recruitment centers (TCCs), in the buildings of the TCCs, and in the buildings of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and in the buildings of the Interior Ministry," Dmytruk said.

According to him, men are abducted to be sent to the front or to demand a ransom of "tens of thousands of dollars" from relatives, as well as property and cryptocurrency are taken from people. In addition, women who are trying to save their loved ones are abducted, beaten and sexually assaulted in such "torture rooms".

Dmytruk also reported abductions of underage girls. According to him, over the past month, about eight people died in a house near Kiev in Petropavlovsk Borshchagovka, who were subsequently listed as missing.

Dmytruk accused the West of turning a blind eye to the existence of such prisons in Ukraine. In his opinion, Western countries are aware of what is happening and are allocating money to create such units, supporting the "usual terrorist regime."

"They (Western countries. — Ed.) they support and know, and they allocate money for this: to create even similar torture chambers, similar units, a similar form of such power. <...> They understand perfectly well what they support. They support the usual terrorist regime today," the deputy believes.

The day before, Ukrainian media reported that armed men were holding about 40 people in the basement of a house in the village of Petropavlovsk Borshchagovka in the Kiev region. At the same time, the security forces denied the reports, saying that employees of the Ukrainian National Guard were allegedly in the house. It was later reported that in fact, military personnel were being held in the building, who voluntarily left the units.

The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed as an extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring), admitted that there are many secret prisons in his country. It was also reported that a 14-year-old boy was being held in the basement in question. Traces of a shovel were found on his body. Ukrainians, having learned about the situation, went to protests, during which several people were injured and killed.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on November 3 that there are a large number of secret places in Ukraine where people are tortured. According to her, they are the mainstays of Vladimir Zelensky's regime, which, according to Paolo Becchi, a professor at the University of Genoa, has begun to fall apart.
