The search for the Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was suspended until the end of the year.

Search activities in the framework of the investigation into the disappearance of the Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are not planned to be carried out until the end of 2026 due to adverse weather conditions and the activity of wild animals. This was announced on November 3 by Yana Syrymbetova, head of the first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of the regional Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"No search activities are planned until the end of the year due to the fact that snow has already fallen on the site and, given the activity of wild animals currently in the region, it is unsafe to go there," Syrymbetova said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

On October 26, the LizaAlert regional search team reported that the neural network had completed processing more than 90,000 photographs of the area taken by drones during the search for the Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk taiga. It was emphasized that the received data set was first processed by a neural network, after which the materials were additionally studied by a special search and analysis group.

The loss of the Usoltsevs in the Manskaya Loop area became known in the fall of 2025 — they went on a hike with a five-year-old child to Mount Pinocchio. Sergey Usoltsev was the owner of a paint manufacturing company. He had to provide a report on the expenditure of government grants. At the same time, Irina Usoltseva's son Daniil Batalov denied reports about the family's departure to California.

Researcher and family friend Valentin Degterev reported on October 13 that the remains of the Usoltsev family, who disappeared a year ago in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, may be located in the Kuturchinsky Belogorye. The researcher added that he plans to organize searches in the area where, in one of the photos earlier, he found alleged traces of blood and the silhouette of a human body.
