Zakharova linked the torture trials near Kiev to Zelensky's attempt to retain power
There are a large number of secret places on the territory of Ukraine where people are tortured, on which the power of President Vladimir Zelensky rests. This was announced on November 3 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"There are many such torturers in Ukraine. It is on them that [Vladimir's] power rests. Zelensky," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Zakharova commented on information from the Ukrainian media that in the village of Petropavlovsk Borshchagovka near Kiev, armed men held about 40 people in the basement of an apartment building. The head of the National Guard of Ukraine, Alexander Pivnenko, said that among the slaves were military personnel who voluntarily left their units.
On November 3, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed as an extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring), admitted that there are many secret prisons in his country. It was also reported that a 14-year-old boy was being held in the basement in question. Traces of a shovel were found on his body. Ukrainians, having learned about the situation, went to protests, during which several people were injured and killed.
Andrei Klishas, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, said on November 3 that what is happening near Kiev testifies to the consequences of the so-called "European choice."
Political scientist Vladimir Siprov, in an interview with Izvestia on the same day, said that the clash at the National Guard facility in the village of Petropavlovsk Borshchagovka in the Kiev region would hit the foreign policy bloc of the president of Ukraine. According to him, it is impossible to reverse the military dictatorship and eliminate the phenomenon of torture without major changes.
