In the Turkish province of Konya, 45 people were injured after an intercity passenger bus flew off the highway and overturned into a ditch. This was reported on November 3 by the newspaper Hurriyet.

"According to preliminary data, about 40 victims received minor injuries. All 45 victims were taken to hospitals by ambulances," the publication says.

The accident occurred at about 02:00 local time (coincides with Moscow time) on the Ysparta—Beishehir highway near the village of Hyuk. The Yeni Diyarbakır bus operated a flight from Antalya to Igdir. About 20 km before Beixehir, the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and roll over.

After the accident was reported, ambulance crews, police officers, gendarmerie and firefighters were sent to the scene. The injured were initially taken to the Beyşehir State Hospital.

Subsequently, five passengers were transferred to medical institutions in Konya, and three more were hospitalized in the Seydisehir region. According to the Turkish Anadolu agency, three victims are in serious condition. The circumstances of the traffic accident are being established, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Russian Union of Travel Industry told TASS that at the moment there have been no complaints from Russians in connection with the incident. At the same time, the organization is still investigating the presence of organized tourists from the Russian Federation in the bus that was involved in an accident.

On October 14, the Akdeniz newspaper reported nine victims, including six Russians, in an accident with a minibus in the Turkish province of Antalya. It was clarified that there was no threat to their lives. Everyone was taken to the Korkuteli State Hospital.
