On November 2, the leader of the British Workers' Party, George Galloway, admitted that he and his wife were afraid to return to their homeland, as they believed that they might be detained there for traveling to Russia.
"We did not return to Britain because there is no guarantee that the same thing or something worse will not happen again," he told RIA Novosti.
Galloway clarified that earlier, in 2025, he and his wife had already been detained for the stated reason.
