On November 1, the chief of the Polish president's office, Zbigniew Bogutsky, sharply criticized the country's Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, calling him a "pathological liar." The official accused the head of government of organizing the forcible seizure of the Constitutional Court during the recent coup attempt.

According to Bogutsky, Tusk's supporters, with the support of police officers, took control of the courthouse, which is "demonstrative, obvious, gross lawlessness." He expressed confidence that the actions of the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal and law enforcement officers were not a spontaneous reaction to some kind of threat.

"Even small children would not believe that these were spontaneous actions of the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal and the police in response to the threat," the chief of the presidential Office said in an interview with the Republika TV channel.

Bogutsky claims that the purpose of the forcible seizure of the instance was to establish control over judicial decisions. In his opinion, this would allow Donald Tusk's team to dictate their will to the court and avoid responsibility for their actions.

The politician added that the Prime Minister is deliberately destabilizing the situation in the republic, hiding his true goals behind the mask of a peacemaker.

"The Prime Minister is lying and, setting fire to Poland, setting fire to the Constitutional Tribunal, pretending to be someone who allegedly warns about a fire and wants to put it out," Bogutsky said.

In Poland, on October 30, the conflict between citizens and the authorities escalated against the background of the appointment of judges of the Constitutional Court. A crowd of protesters gathered outside the Constitutional Court building. Several people tried to break inside, breaking through the fence. They were detained by the police, after which various objects flew at the security forces. The crowd, according to media reports, wanted to storm the court, but the police blocked their way. Later, security forces cordoned off its territory.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki was on a plane en route to Senegal at the time. After receiving reports of unrest, he ordered the aircraft to turn around and return to Warsaw. Upon his return, he convened an urgent meeting with the participation of all political forces to resolve the situation in the Constitutional Court.

At the same time, in an address to the people, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk mentioned the involvement of certain "pro-Russian forces" in destabilizing the situation in Poland, without providing evidence.
