The Nizhny Novgorod region has set a gasoline supply limit of up to 40 liters.
Temporary restrictions on the sale of gasoline at gas stations have been introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod region. As reported on November 1 in the press service of the regional government, the limit for one refueling vehicle will be 40 liters.
The decision was made by the regional headquarters to ensure the stable operation of the gas station. The restrictions apply only to gasoline, and no limits have been imposed on diesel fuel.
In addition, the region has established a complete ban on the sale of gasoline in cans and any other containers. The authorities have also strengthened control over compliance with the "even-odd" refueling scheme, in which the possibility of visiting a gas station depends on the date and the state license plate of the car.
At gas stations located near the administrative borders of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a special procedure has been introduced for the release of fuel for cars with state registration plates from other regions of Russia. The regional government explained that this measure is aimed at prioritizing the internal needs of the region.
"Temporarily restrict the export of fuel from storage facilities outside the Nizhny Novgorod region, except for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Defense and rapid response services," TASS quoted the agency as saying.
Restrictive measures were taken against the background of damage to technological facilities in the Kstovsky district. The press service clarified that currently the district's life support systems are functioning normally, and specialists are conducting an unscheduled inspection.
The regional authorities assured that the fuel supply remains stable. Drivers were urged to refuel their vehicles only as needed and not create artificial excitement.
On November 1, more than 100 drones were destroyed over the Nizhny Novgorod region. A woman was injured when the UAV debris fell. An industrial enterprise in the Kstovsky district was significantly damaged. Later, a criminal case was opened into a terrorist attack due to an attack on facilities in the region. At the same time, the authorities reported a steady supply of fuel to the Nizhny Novgorod region.
