Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Deputy Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Natalia Andrianova as interim head of the department. This was announced by the Government of the Russian Federation on October 30.

"Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order assigning the temporary duties of head of the Federal Air Transport Agency to Natalia Andrianova, deputy head of this agency," the government's website says.

Andrianova was born in Moscow in 1979. She is a graduate of the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation with a degree in Management and holds a PhD in Economics.

She started her career in the aviation industry in 2001 at the Ministry of Transport, where she worked as a leading specialist for three years. Since 2004, Andrianova joined the Federal Air Transport Agency.

In September, Sergei Stramous resigned as deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency at his own request. He was relieved of his post at his own request, also by Mishustin's order.
