- The State Duma called Ukraine's strikes on oil refineries a violation of agreements with the United States.
Ukraine violated agreements with the United States by resuming attacks on Russian oil refineries. This was announced on October 30 by State Duma Deputy Andrei Klimov.
"I would carefully look at what the reaction of the United States would be, because they actually refused America. The blow was inflicted on the territory of Russia. <...> The Americans should now significantly punish Zelensky and his junta," he said in an interview with Lenta.ru .
According to the deputy, Washington had previously asked Kiev to refrain from attacks on Russian oil refineries. Klimov stressed that Ukraine cannot be trusted, as its representatives do not comply with moral and ethical norms, international rules, traditions, or even their own legislation. Moscow should be able to respond promptly and effectively to Kiev's actions, he noted.
Earlier in the day, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said Kiev was ignoring US President Donald Trump's calls to stop attacks on Russian energy facilities. He also noted that Kiev would hardly have decided on this alone. According to the presidential aide, Ukraine did this with the support of its European allies.
