The level of trust of Russians in Russian President Vladimir Putin is 72%. This is evidenced by the results of a survey published on the website of the Public Opinion Foundation (POM).

According to the survey results, 72% of respondents said they trusted the head of state. In addition, the majority of the survey participants — 73% — believe that Putin is doing a good job of his duties as president.

48% of the respondents positively assessed the work of the Russian government. At the same time, 53% of the study participants approved the activities of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

United Russia received the highest level of support among political parties, with 35% of respondents ready to vote for it. The level of support for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was 13%, the Liberal Democratic Party — 11%, and the New People party - 9%. 4% of the respondents supported "Fair Russia".

The survey was conducted from October 23 to October 25 among 1.5 thousand people in 51 regions of the country.

On September 28, Putin met with all the leaders of political parties following the results of the September 18-20 vote. During the conversation, he stated that he would support their initiatives aimed at justifying the trust placed by the people. At that time, the Russian leader called on the selected political figures to establish a dialogue with those who had not been elected to the State Duma and to consider the useful initiatives of these colleagues.
