Former French national football team player Tanguy Ndombele will join Rubin

Former midfielder of the French national team Tangi Ndombele will become a player of the Kazan football club Rubin. This was reported on October 29 by Sport24.

The player is expected to sign a contract next week. The agreement will run until the summer of 2027 with an option to extend it for another season. After completing the paperwork, the player will travel to France to prepare his family for moving to Kazan.

Ndombele will be able to officially join the club in January 2027, when the winter transfer window opens in Russia. Prior to that, the Frenchman had signed a viewing contract with Rubin and had already participated in the team's training camp.

Ndombele has been a free agent since July 2026. The midfielder's last club was Nice. The Frenchman also played for Lyon, Tottenham, Napoli and Galatasaray over the years, Sport-Express adds.
