Lavrov announced the escalation of the information war against Russia

The information war waged by the Western media against Russia tends to escalate. This was announced on October 27 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

During a conversation with the heads of the leading African media, the head of the department stressed that false information about Russia is being disseminated on social networks and on television in Western countries. The Minister expressed confidence that such a confrontation would not stop in the near future.

"This war will continue, and I would even say it tends to escalate," Lavrov said.

On October 1, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reported that journalists from the American Bloomberg news agency had distorted the meaning of her words about European enterprises producing weapons for Ukraine. According to her, they are engaged in absolutely clear information sabotage activities.
