- The State Duma called the words of the Ombudsman of Ukraine "state genocide of Russians"
The statement by the Language Ombudsman of Ukraine, Elena Ivanovskaya, about the alleged right of doctors to refuse medical care to Russian-speaking patients who do not speak the official language is an element of the state genocide of Russians. This was stated on October 27 by the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky.
"The statements of the Ukrainian language Ombudsman (also with references to morality) are completely in the spirit of fascist ideology. In fact, this approach to healthcare is another element of the genocide of Russians at the state level," the parliamentarian said, quoted by TASS.
According to Slutsky, Ivanovskaya's position indicates discrimination against the Russian-speaking population in Ukraine. He stressed that this is exactly what Russia is fighting on its own.
Russian grave of the liquidated militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Petukhov in Kropyvnytskyi was the subject of a scandal on October 26, the Ukrainian TV channel "Public" reported. It is specified that Inga Dudnik, a member of the working group on the construction of the Alley of Memory of the Far Eastern Cemetery, saw the monument when she came to her daughter's grave. According to her, this is not the only such case in the war graves sector. The victim's mother, Ella Petukhova, explained that the choice of the Russian language was a conscious decision of the family.
