During trading, the index reached 2,500.56 points. According to the exchange, on the eve of October 26, the indicator was mainly in the range of 2480-2495 points, and the next morning it began to grow and overcame the psychologically significant level of 2500 points.

On October 5, the Moscow Stock Exchange index rose above 2,300 points for the first time since September 25.
