Pavel Lungin will talk about four milestones in the life of actor, tramp, rock star and elder Peter Mamonov. Sergey Bezrukov will try on the fabulous image of the magician of Montenegro for the first time in ten years of his film career. Maxim Matveev will investigate the crime alone in the hope of saving his sister. Anna Egoyan will compete with the developers of the neural network for the right to her own voice. For more information about the main film distribution innovations, see the Izvestia article.

Chudo-Yudo, 6+

Director: Serik Beiseu. Starring: Sofia Lopunova, Mikita Voronov, Sergey Bezrukov, Victoria Isakova

Adventure fantasy boldly departs from textbook plots and immerses the viewer in an unprecedented magical world. Along with the usual characters of Russian fairy tales, vampires are also found in it. But this is not the only detail that gives the story a dark Gothic touch.

Sergey Bezrukov will try on the characteristic image of the powerful evil magician Chernogor, and Victoria Isakova will appear in the role of the authoritarian witch of the Swamp. But they are not the center of attention at all, but the daughter of the heroes, Otrada. On the day she comes of age, the girl learns that, unlike her parents, she is devoid of magical abilities. You can fix the mistake, but for this you will have to marry an ordinary person. And for an engagement, a parental blessing is necessary. The self-willed heroine will have to sort out her relationship with her parents, undergo a personal transformation and find love.

However, she does not embark on a dangerous adventure in the human world alone, but in the company of her mother's faithful servant, Miracle Yudo. He is "that, I don't know what", and by the will of circumstances he is able to take on any appearance, including a human one. The character also has a special secret that keeps viewers in the dark until the last few minutes.

"The Four Lives of Peter Mamonov", 16+

Directed by Pavel Lungin. Starring: Peter Mamonov, Sergey Shnurov, Viktor Sukhorukov, Alexander F. Sklyar

A fragment of the empire among romantic heroes, a pagan god — all this is Peter Mamonov. A one-of-a-kind tramp, a rock star, an actor, and an old man. The leader of the group "Sounds of Mu" surprised with crazy performances on stage and reflected the sharp images of modernity in topical texts. However, his real story was no less daring. Director Pavel Lungin spent about two years putting together interviews and archival footage in order to honestly present the viewer with a portrait of this phenomenal personality. He also conveyed the contradictions in the soul of a punk and a poet.

Mamonov starred in three of Lungin's films.: "Taxi Blues", "Island" and "Tsar". As the director recalls, he was a man from the Middle Ages. Perhaps that's why it was so hard for him to exist in his own time. Along with Lungin, Viktor Sukhorukov, Alexander F. Sklyar, Mamonov's wife, clergymen and others share their observations. The film consists of four chapters, each of which is dedicated to a separate milestone in the life of the famous tramp and the elder.

"Pranker", 18+

Directed by Alexander Kharlamov. Starring: Maxim Matveev, Alexey Serebryakov, Kristina Kucherenko, Yuri Chulkov

Pranks are associated with harmless practical jokes, but in the new thriller they will appear in a completely different light. Anton, Maxim Matveev's on-screen character, is a caring son and a good man in everyday life. However, in his professional activity, he masterfully manipulates other people's secrets without thinking about morality. He is a pranker who deceives into obtaining secret information about influential people. But you can't go unpunished forever. One day, Anton falls into his own trap. The hero himself is put on the wanted list, and his sister Dasha is trapped in a shopping mall that caught fire. There is a chance to avoid tragedy, but for this it is necessary to find the real culprit in a matter of hours.

Synthetics, 18+

Directed by Alex Somebody. Starring: Anna Egoyan, Nikita Kovtunov, Olga Smirnova, Mikhail Tarabukin

Another new rental confirms that in order to become a victim of modern technology, it is not necessary to conduct a criminal game on your own.

In the center of the plot is the dubbing star Alena, who is deprived of the right to vote. It suddenly becomes the "raw material" for the neural network, which developers use for third-party projects with questionable content. Wanting to restore justice, the girl enlists the support of a lawyer, a journalist and her boyfriend. Together, they will have to replay a large-scale company in order to return to Alyona what belongs to her by birthright.

"Child of water",18+

Directed by Ahn Jae-hoon. Starring: Jung Hae-in, Kang Ha-neul, Lee Chong-ah, Yoo Jae-myung

Sometimes a superpower is not an advantage, but a circumstance that condemns you to loneliness. This is how the boy Gong, the main character of the South Korean cartoon, perceives the ability to breathe underwater. One day, on the verge of death, he acquires gills. The detail does not go unnoticed by others, so Gon is forced to hide from the gaze and obsessive gazes.

The script is based on Gu Benmo's novel "Gills". However, the director added his own vision and moved the plot from the Korean province to Paris on the banks of the Seine, placing real human pain in a romantic space.
