- The Kremlin said there were no substantive proposals for a meeting between Russia, the United States and China.
Substantive proposals for holding a summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have not yet been discussed. This was announced on October 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Considering that all three heads of state may potentially take part in the summit in China, then, indeed, the topic of such a hypothetical meeting was mentioned. No substantive proposals or agreements were discussed or expressed on the meeting itself, or on the possible agenda and content of this meeting," he said.
