The producer of the band "Tender May" Andrey Razin has obtained in a Turkish court the recognition of copyrights to 28 songs of the band "Tender May". He had previously lost disputes in Russian courts over the exclusive rights to the band's compositions. This became known from court documents on October 19.

"Based on the above: to dismiss the plaintiff's claim; to establish that the author of the words, music and the copyright holder for the following works (28 songs. — Ed.) <...> the defendant is Andrei Razin (Andrei Alexandrovich Razin)," TASS quoted the words from the document with the decision of the court of first instance.

The trial was conducted in the Serik 1st Interdistrict Court, included legal fees and minimal compensation for disputed objects, and cost the defendants almost 50,000 Turkish liras. According to the documents, this amount is equivalent to 80 thousand rubles.

The plaintiff was Russian businessman Nikolai Korzhikov, who had previously been one of the nominal owners of the Laskovoy May trademarks in Russian court proceedings. The Russian courts of all instances recognized the documents submitted by Razin and related persons as false. According to the investigation materials, Korzhikov also appears in the fraudulent scheme of the producer.

Representatives of the copyright holder reported that they had appealed the decision to the Antalya Regional Court. Russian lawyers called it "Razin's attempt to take abroad all the lost legacy of the musical group in Russia."

"Earlier in [Russian] courts, Razin accused Yuri Shatunov's widow of having German citizenship, and now, having exhausted the possibilities in all instances in the Russian Federation, he is trying to initiate litigation with our clients abroad through his affiliates," one of the official representatives of the copyright holders recognized by Russian courts told the agency.

The amount of debt collected from Razin, accused of fraud, as it became known on October 14, approached 6 million rubles.

On October 13, a law enforcement source reported the appearance of a second episode of especially large-scale fraud in the criminal case of the producer of "Tender May" Andrei Razin. He is connected with the alleged forgery of the contract with the former lead singer of the band Yuri Shatunov, who was recognized by the court.

On the same day, a card appeared in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia informing about Razin's re-wanted list under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

As it became known on October 12, the capital's courts declared invalid the agreement on the exclusive rights to the songs of "Tender May", as well as the trademarks of the musical group between its lead singer Yuri Shatunov and Razin. According to the lawyer of Shatunov's widow Svetlana Assel Mukhtarova-Kazarnovskaya, the rights to Shatunov's musical works, images and images belonged to Razin on the basis of a forged contract.
