The Moscow Derby determined the sole leader of the RPL after 11 rounds. Dynamo beat CSKA 3-1 and pulled away from the Army team by three points. Taking advantage of the misfire of Krasnodar, which drew 3-3 with Moscow Lokomotiv, Zenit St. Petersburg and Spartak Moscow also joined the pursuit of the blue and white.

Dynamo — CSKA

There were no surprises in the starting lineups of both teams. And from the very first minutes they started playing to the limit of their abilities. For the first half hour, the game was played on opposite courses. There were no specific dangerous moments, but the high speeds and constant approaches to the goal pleased the fans of both teams.

As a result, Dynamo opened the scoring in the 31st minute. It all started with a mistake by CSKA goalkeeper Vladislav Torop: first, he unsuccessfully knocked the ball to Daniil Fomin, who passed to Yaroslav Gladyshev, and Konstantin Tyukavin hit the Army's goal with his pass.

Soon, the blue and white could have been outnumbered when their goalkeeper Andrei Lunev fouled Kirill Glebov. The referee first showed the goalkeeper a red card, but after watching the replay, he saw a simulation from the army man and overturned the decision. Closer to the break, Luciano Gondu could have compared the score, but his shot was parried at point-blank range by Lunev.

Nevertheless, CSKA had the last word in the first half. After Danil Krugovoy's kick, the ball in someone else's penalty area hit Marichal's hand, and Ivan Oblyakov scored from the penalty spot. In the second half, the teams went without chances for almost half an hour, but they played very intensively.

And after the 70th minute, the game opened up again. Daniil Fomin could have put Dynamo ahead, but he hit the post. Mateus Alves immediately hit from the goalkeeper's line, but the CSKA player turned out to be a little inaccurate — the ball went just past the goal.

In the end, the standard position decided everything. In the 88th minute, Dynamo got the right to a corner kick. And from a cross performed by Bitello, Roberto Fernandez sent the ball into the goal with his head. Four minutes later, Viktor Okishor finished off the intrigue in the match, bringing Dynamo their seventh consecutive victory in the championship and sole leadership. CSKA is sliding back to fourth place.

— It turned out to be a very combative match with equal opportunities for both teams, Sergei Silkin, former Dynamo head coach, shared his opinion with Izvestia. — Any of the opponents could have won, but Dynamo were still a little sharper. They scored the first goal, then, due to an accidental penalty, they allowed the Army to equalize, and after the break they had good moments - one blow from Fomin to the post is worth it. And as a result, due to successful substitutions, they put the squeeze on the opponent.

Lokomotiv — Krasnodar

Loko seemed to be reviving after a disastrous start. Having defeated Voronezh Fakel on a visit earlier, the Railwaymen managed to get out of the zone of transitional matches. It was possible to check whether they were coming out of the crisis by confronting the recent leader of the RPL.

Krasnodar has noticeably slowed down recently, and after a 2-3 home loss to Zenit, the Bulls lost their lead altogether. The absence of key midfielder Nikita Krivtsov due to injury is still affecting.

However, the away match with Loko started as well as possible for the southern team. In the 5th minute, after a shot into the far corner from outside the penalty area by Joao Batchi, the ball ended up in the goal of the hosts. However, after 10 minutes Nikolay Titkov equalized the score.

After that, the teams played double-edged football, with a lot of defensive mistakes and several dangerous moments, but it came to goals only towards the end of the meeting. In the 71st minute, Loko took the lead thanks to Alexander Rudenko's goal.

Seven minutes later, Alexander Kovalenko doubled the advantage of the Railwaymen. It seemed that Mikhail Galaktionov's team would not miss the victory. Even Lucas Olasa's 86th-minute goal seemed like nothing more than a prestige goal. But in stoppage time, John Cordoba equalized and allowed the visitors to escape defeat.

Lokomotiv is still 12th and ahead of Akhmat Grozny, which is in the transition zone, only in terms of additional indicators with equal points. Krasnodar is fifth and three points behind the first place.

There were also five more matches in the 11th round. Akhmat almost took away Zenit's points in St. Petersburg. The Chechen club equalized the score at the end of the match, but in the end the blue-white-blues managed to score the winning goal and won 3:2. Spartak Moscow defeated Rubin Kazan (4-0). Fakel Voronezh won the current championship for the first time, defeating Krylia Sovetov Samara (2:1). Dynamo Makhachkala missed a 1-1 victory over Akron Togliatti at home.

Kaliningrad "Baltika" played a draw with "Rostov" (0:0) at home. The tour will end on October 19 with the match of the Moscow Rodina against Orenburg.
