Guards Junior Sergeant Idar Kardanov delivered communication equipment to his destination, despite being injured after the explosion of an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). On October 19, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation.

Kardanov was part of a line-cable group that transported communications equipment to a settlement liberated from enemy forces. While riding an ATV, he noticed an approaching FPV drone and managed to evade a direct hit. However, a drone explosion near the transport injured a serviceman and damaged a radio station designed to communicate with the senior of the group.

Having taken refuge in the folds of the terrain, Kardanov gave himself first aid on his own and assessed the opportunity to continue moving. Despite being injured, he reached his destination and completed the task. The delivery of the equipment made it possible to establish communication between the advanced units.

Guard Junior Sergeant Dmitry Nigreev, as part of an evacuation group, took three wounded soldiers from another unit from the line of contact. He received information that the fighters could not move on their own, and went after them.

The evacuation took place with high activity of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles and continuous artillery fire. Despite the threat to his life, Nigreev took the wounded to the evacuation area. From there, the servicemen were promptly sent to a medical facility, where they received the necessary assistance.
