Trump explained the use of makeup by unwillingness to look "dead"
On October 16, US President Donald Trump admitted that he applied a small amount of makeup on his own in order to "not look like a dead man."
"I put on quite a bit of makeup and do it myself. Because if you don't apply at least a little bit, you'll look a little like a dead man, and I don't want to look like that," the American leader said, as quoted by the New York Post.
In particular, the US president campaigned for Congressman Mike Collins, who is a rival of Democrat John Ossoff, as well as for gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson.
During his speech, Trump praised Collins' work in Congress, calling him one of the most respected politicians. In addition, the American leader separately praised the candidate's appearance.
Trump appeared in public on March 2 of this year with a red spot on his neck. During the event at the White House, the American leader spoke to the cameras. There was a noticeable red irritation on the right side of his neck. During the Christmas event on December 24, 2025, Trump was also seen with bruises on his wrists.
