The song "Motor" by the deceased Izvestia war correspondent Semyon Eremin, dedicated to the militia member Arsen Pavlov with the call sign Motorola, tells not only about him, but also about the work of the journalist himself in the war zone. On October 17, the wife of the military commander Victoria Eremina told Izvestia.

"In fact, the song has a double meaning, as we all understand it, because for the most part (One of the meanings. — Ed.) "Motorola", but generally the motor is a camera, a motor. And in general, Semyon wrote a song about the work that he had been doing all his life," she said.

According to Eremina, her husband wrote the song about five years ago. Composing and performing songs was his passion. The journalist tried to perform his own rap compositions at home, and his performances were so loud that they could be heard all over the street. Later, the military commander met with musicians who offered to record the song "Motor". They worked on several versions of the song, but the completed version was never released.

Yeremina also noted that Motorola was one of the most prominent representatives of the militia for her husband, and then participated in the fighting. In her opinion, the journalist respected him and understood the significance of his role in the events of that time.

As Andrey Mikheev, producer of the Rap Platoon music project, told Izvestia on October 16, the original recording of the song "Motor" was rough, and the final version was planned to be made after Eremin's return from another business trip.

Later, the project members decided to re-record the song. Musician Pasha Nero, a veteran of his band, slightly adjusted the text for ease of performance, while retaining the original voice of the journalist in the chorus, and leaving the music almost unchanged. The track was included in the album Rap Platoon 2.0: Without Borders.

Yeremin died in April 2024 while filming a report in the special military operation zone. The military commander was injured as a result of an FPV drone attack and subsequently died. He was 42 years old. The journalist has been working in the SVR zone since it began in February 2022. As part of the film crew, he was one of the first to prepare reports from Volnovakha in March 2022, and was also one of the first to talk about Lancet drones and Solntsepek heavy flame-throwing systems.
