A woman was killed and a man was injured in UAV attacks in the Belgorod region.

A woman was killed and a man was injured as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod region. This was announced on October 17 at the operational headquarters of the region.

In Shebekino, a drone attacked a passenger car, resulting in the death of a woman. In the village of Voznesenovka in the Shebekinsky district, a man was injured in a UAV attack. He suffered an acubarotrauma, and after receiving medical attention, he was hospitalized in the otorhinolaryngological department of Belgorod City Hospital No. 2.

In addition, two FPV drones damaged two passenger cars in Shebekino. As a result of other drone attacks, a car and the glazing of an apartment building were damaged, and an anti-drone net also caught fire.

In the village of Svyatoslavka, Rakityansky district, a drone damaged a passenger car. In the village of Krasnaya Yaruga, a garage was damaged during the detonation of an FPV drone, and another drone damaged a social facility. In the village of Borki, Valuysky district, the roof and chimney of a private house were damaged during a UAV attack.

The intensity of such attacks will inevitably decrease due to the exhaustion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the saturation of the Russian air defense, experts believe.

On the morning of October 17, an APU drone crashed onto the roof of a five-story building in the Fokinsky district of Bryansk, two people received minor shrapnel wounds. In addition, a kamikaze drone attacked a moving truck near the village of Katashin in the Novozybkovsky district. The driver was injured and hospitalized.
