Fragments of an APU drone fell in the center of Rybinsk while repelling an attack

In Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region, while repelling an attack, the wreckage of a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fell in the area of Karyakinskaya Street in the city center. There was no damage or casualties. This was announced on October 17 by the governor of the region Mikhail Evraev.

"According to preliminary information, its fragments fell in the area of Karyakinskaya Street in the center of Rybinsk. Emergency services specialists are working at the site, the area is cordoned off. There are no damages or casualties," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

According to Evraev, the drone was destroyed by electronic warfare (EW). Later, the governor announced that the immediate threat of a UAV attack in Rybinsk and the Rybinsk district had been lifted. At the same time, the unmanned danger mode continues to operate. The governor urged residents not to approach the wreckage of the drones, to move to a safe distance.

The intensity of such attacks will inevitably decrease due to the exhaustion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the saturation of the Russian air defense, experts believe.

On October 16, five people were injured in the Belgorod region when an APU drone attacked a regular passenger bus. It was noted that four civilians were taken to the hospital with various injuries. The vehicle was damaged.
