In the Bryansk region, the body of a murdered woman was hidden in a chest for eight months.

In the Bryansk region, two residents of the Brasovsky district were detained, suspected of murdering a 56-year-old acquaintance, whose body had been lying in a trunk for eight months. This was reported on October 16 in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

"Two residents of the Brasovsky district (27 and 43 years old) are suspected of murdering their 56‑year-old friend. They <...> were detained as a result of operational measures," the publication says in the Maks messenger.

According to investigators, the crime occurred in February during a feast. A man and a woman beat an acquaintance, she died from her injuries. After that, the suspects photographed the body and hid it in a trunk in the house.

Later, the defendants left the region, but they were detained during operational search activities. A procedural decision has been made on the case, the investigation is ongoing, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

One of the organizers of the crime died in an accident, and the perpetrators were brought to justice a quarter of a century later.

On the same day, the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) in the Orenburg region reported that the woman who allegedly killed nurse Venera Yuldasheva in Orenburg had been given a preventive measure in the form of arrest. The meeting was held right in the hospital, where the accused Lilia M. is lying with stab wounds.
