Medvedev pointed to Zelensky's recognition in the United States as an obstacle to peace

The United States began to perceive Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as an obstacle to achieving peace and respecting American interests. This was announced on October 16 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

Medvedev noted that US President Donald Trump would not forgive Zelensky for the possible failure of the Republicans in the congressional elections. According to the politician, Trump is now "taking revenge" on the head of the Kiev regime, blaming him for the destruction of Ukraine.

The deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council added that in the current situation, Zelensky should have listened to the advice of European partners: be patient, do not provoke Washington and wait for the election results. At the same time, Medvedev ironically warned about the risks for the Ukrainian leadership in any political scenario in the United States.

"Uncle exterminator is vindictive. <...> Kiev arthropods will be treated with poisonous dust," Medvedev summed up.
