Rostec announced an increase in the production of Krasnopol guided missiles
Rostec State Corporation announced an increase in the production of Krasnopol guided artillery shells designed to destroy mobile ground targets at a considerable distance. This was announced on October 16 in the press service of the state corporation in the Maks messenger.
"From a distance of tens of kilometers, this munition can hit even such a small and mobile target as a tank with a direct hit. Today, High—precision complexes have significantly increased the production of these munitions," the state corporation said.
Rostec noted that the use of guided missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) allows artillery crews to act more cautiously in a combat situation. The upgraded Msta-S howitzer and the Malva and Hyacinth-K wheeled launchers are also used to perform the tasks.
"They are able to quickly take up a position, hit a target with one or two shots and leave just as quickly," the report says.
On October 12, the High-Precision Complexes Holding shipped the first serial batch of ANT-1000PM robotic fire extinguishing systems. As noted in Rostec, thanks to the remote control system, the machines allow the calculations to eliminate fires without endangering the lives of specialists.
On June 24, it was reported that Rostec for the first time presented new modifications of the Dispatcher ground-based robotic complex, designed, among other things, for civilian use. Among the samples presented are a snow removal robot and a ground drone with a target system, which is used in combat training and competitions in shooting disciplines.
