ISU invited figure skaters Trusova and Semenenko to the Grand Prix stage in China

The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) has received invitations for Alexandra Ignatova (before her marriage, Trusova) and Evgeny Semenenko to participate in the Grand Prix series in China. This was announced on October 15 by FFKKR Secretary General Alexander Kogan.

"We have received an invitation for Semenenko and Trusova to participate in the Grand Prix in China," he told RIA Novosti.

Ignatova topped the reserve list for the Grand Prix stages after winning the Challenger Series tournament in Alma Ata and the second place at the Kinoshita Cup in Tokyo.

The Grand Prix stage will be held in Shenzhen from November 6 to November 8, the newspaper reports.Ru»

Russian figure skaters won five of the nine medals at the Denis Ten Memorial.

Ignatova won the international Challenger tournament on October 9. According to the results of the short and free programs, the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympic Games scored 226.01 points, securing first place in the final standings.
