A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Units of the North group of forces in the Kharkiv region are compressing the encirclement ring and expanding the external control zone. As a result of the active actions of our units, control over the settlements of Nefyodovka and Chernoe in the Kharkiv region has been established in the encirclement ring. Fighting continues for the liberation of the settlements of Nikolaevka and Varvarovka in the Kharkiv region. During the expansion of the external control zone, fighting continues to establish control over the settlements of Prykolotnoye, Kotovka and Gogino in the Kharkiv region. Fire strikes were carried out on strongholds of a heavy mechanized brigade and an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Fedorovka and Maly Burluk, Kharkiv region.

Also in the Kharkiv region, the manpower and equipment of three mechanized, two motorized infantry brigades and two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were affected in the areas of the settlements of Liptsy, Velikiye Prokhody, Zamulovka, Shirokoe, Zarechnoye, Pershotravnevoe, Kurgan, Veliky Burluk, Vysoky and Gontarovka. In the Sumy region, formations of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Leninskoye, Barilovka and Pervomaiske in the Sumy region. In total, the enemy lost over 175 soldiers, 16 vehicles and two electronic warfare stations in the area of responsibility of the North group of forces.

The fighters of the Zapad group of forces improved their position along the front line. The manpower and equipment of two mechanized assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Mayaki, Karpovka, Donetsk of the Donetsk People's Republic, Chervony Oskol and Maliyivka of the Kharkiv region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 220 military personnel, three armored combat vehicles, 14 vehicles, three artillery pieces and a Grad multiple rocket launcher combat vehicle.

Units of the Center group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of four mechanized, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade and two National Guard brigades in the areas of the settlements of Krutoyarovka, Dnipropetrovsk region, Belozersk, Novoyavlenka, Druzhkovka, Starovarvarovka, Veselaya Gora, Rogan, Yuryevka and Gornyak of the Donetsk People's Republic.

In the village of Dobropole, Donetsk People's Republic, the assault groups of the 51st Army were advancing in the northwestern part of the city. The assault units of the Marine corps group continued their offensive in the western part of the settlement. During the day, 31 buildings were liberated, and up to 15 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed. In total, in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces, the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to 345 soldiers, five armored combat vehicles and 12 vehicles.

The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depths of the enemy's defenses. They defeated the manpower and equipment of two airborne assault brigades, two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two marine brigades in the areas of the settlements of Tarasovka, Ivanovka, Kolomiytsy, Chernenkovo, Vasilkovka, Podhavrilovka, Dnipropetrovsk region, Mirolyubovka and Raiske, Zaporizhia region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 190 military personnel, six vehicles, a Grad multiple rocket launcher combat vehicle and an electronic warfare station.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated the transport infrastructure used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, workshops for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and their storage sites, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 145 areas. Four Flamingo long-range cruise missiles and 342 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 674 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 262,470 unmanned aerial vehicles, 672 anti-aircraft missile systems, 31,239 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,790 multiple rocket launchers, 36,734 field artillery and mortars, 74,611 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
