The senior gunner of the airborne division of the Guard, Private Maxim Soldatov, participated in the storming of the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), when a magnetic mine detonated in front of him during the attack. On October 15, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation.

As a result of the mine explosion, the soldier received multiple leg wounds. Despite his injuries, the private continued to fight with superior enemy forces and destroyed three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with accurate small arms fire. Thanks to his actions, the assault group gained a foothold on a new frontier.

Lieutenant Andrey Puzanov, Deputy commander of the airborne division of the Guard, led the assault group and repeatedly evacuated the wounded under continuous enemy fire.

Having been wounded during a combat mission, the officer continued to lead the evacuation of seriously injured colleagues. Thanks to his competent and decisive actions, it was possible to prevent the death of personnel and complete the assigned tasks.

Having been wounded, the soldier continued to carry his comrade and took him to a shelter.
