In Naberezhnye Chelny, production of components for KAMAZ began at the expense of a loan from FRP

The ZMK Trio Group company has launched mass production of transfer case components and drive bridges in Naberezhnye Chelny. The products are used in most models of KAMAZ trucks. Previously, some of these components were supplied from abroad, according to a statement from the Industrial Development Fund (EDF), which was received by Izvestia on October 15.

Investments in the development of the enterprise amounted to 576 million rubles, including 450 million, which were provided by the Federal Reserve Fund under the Automotive Components program in the form of a concessional loan. Due to the loan, the company acquired 17 pieces of equipment, including high—precision milling and grinding machines, which made it possible to organize a full production cycle - from processing blanks to the production of finished parts.

At the site of the industrial park "Equipment Base", the company has set up the production of gears and shafts for transfer cases. This unit distributes the torque between the driving axles of the car and helps to increase traction when driving off-road. Production of differential cups and satellites for driving axles has also begun. They ensure the distribution of torque between the wheels and allow them to rotate at different speeds, for example, when cornering.

The production facilities allow to produce up to 210 thousand products per year. It is noted that all products are made from Russian raw materials, the level of localization of production is 100%.

"The launch of production will make it possible to replace imported supplies, reduce logistical costs and provide KAMAZ with domestic components manufactured in close proximity to the main consumer," the FRP noted.

On August 28, the Russian component base development center, a branch of FSUE NAMI, opened in Kazan. He will be engaged in the design, development and production of critical automotive components, as well as providing engineering services.
