The Ukrainian military began to leave the village of Lidino in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) after the first clash. This was stated on October 14 by Vladimir Kochegazov, commander of the assault platoon of the 35th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle brigade of the Center group of forces, in a video by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"As soon as the enemy came into fire contact, that is, the first losses appeared, the rest ran," the fighter said.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are currently facing serious logistical problems and are suffering from supply disruptions.

From the radio interception on October 12, it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a critical shortage of food and a deterioration in the health of their personnel. The Ukrainian military radioed to the commander with the call sign Python that his colleagues had stomach aches from hunger.
