Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield, who gained worldwide fame for his role in the movie Spider-Man, helped his Russian colleague Yura Borisov while talking to the press. The recording was published on October 6 by The Associated Press on the YouTube channel.

Borisov presented the painting "Artificial" by Luca Guadagnino, where he played one of the main roles. During the press approach, the journalists asked the artist about working with the famous director.

Talking about the makeup artists who created his on-screen image, Borisov began to have difficulty finding words in English. At that moment, he turned to Garfield, who was passing by, for support.

"What are you doing with it? He is the most sincere person, there is no need to offend our Yura," Garfield jokingly told the media, after which both actors laughed.

The American actor also expressed his admiration for his colleague's professionalism. According to Garfield, Borisov was a leader on the set and demonstrated complete fusion with his character.

Variety magazine reported on October 5 that Borisov could be nominated for an Oscar in the Best Actor category for the film Artificial. According to journalists, Garfield, who also starred in the film, will participate in the Oscar campaign in the Best Supporting Actor category.

In March 2025, the 97th Academy Awards Ceremony took place in Los Angeles. The film "Anora" starring Yura Borisov and Mark Eidelstein won the award for "Best Film". Borisov was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, but did not receive the award.
