US President Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility of new bombings of Iranian territory after the midterm congressional elections scheduled for November. This was reported by Time magazine on October 1.

"It's possible," Trump said, answering a question from a Time journalist about the likelihood of new attacks on Iranian facilities after the vote, the president answered in the affirmative.

The Head of State also stressed that the United States has significant stocks of weapons. He noted that Washington is ready to provide military assistance to its partners in the region. According to Trump, the United States has a lot of weapons and is ready to share them with its allies.

On September 9, the American leader already linked the prospects of confrontation with Iran with the results of the vote in the country's legislature. According to him, the conflict may end after the midterm congressional elections.

In mid-September, the US president gave a more optimistic assessment of the situation. So, on September 16, Trump reported that Tehran expressed a desire to conclude a peace agreement, and the next day he said that the parties had reached a turning point in the war with Iran.
