Maxim Krym, the deputy of Ruslan Kravchenko, who left Ukraine, became the acting Prosecutor General of the country. This was reported on September 15 by the Ukrainian newspaper "Strana.ua" with reference to ex-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.

"The duties of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine are now performed by his deputy Maxim Krym," the Telegram channel says.

It is clarified that Crimea has agreed to lift suspicions against senior officials of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

Kravchenko left Ukraine on September 14 in an official car and called it a business trip abroad. He said that he intends to tell foreign partners about the situation in the system of anti-corruption authorities. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky subsequently dismissed Kravchenko from office.

On September 14, the head of the legislative assembly of the Zaporizhia region, Viktor Emelianenko, said that Kravchenko's departure from the country resembles the behavior of rats fleeing from a sinking ship. Verkhovna Rada deputy Mariana Bezuglaya shared her opinion that the story of Kravchenko showed problems in the organization of the work of state institutions.
