The figure skater appeared in an off-the-shoulder white dress with a full skirt, while her husband chose a classic black suit with a white shirt and tie.

According to the couple, they dreamed of a "live and real" wedding, but in the end the celebration turned out even better than they imagined. In the post, they also expressed gratitude to their mothers and all their loved ones for their love and support.

Evgenia and Ildar got married on August 29, 2026. The celebration took place at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow. Olympic champion Anna Shcherbakova, figure skater Alexandra Trusova and her husband Makar Ignatov, producer Yana Rudkovskaya and choreographer Daniil Gleikhengauz and his wife were among the guests.

Medvedeva and Gainutdinov met in 2024 at the Stardance project, where they performed as a couple. At that time, their relationship remained outside the public domain, and they confirmed their romance only in the summer of 2025. Then they posted photos together, officially announcing their relationship. Gainutdinov proposed to Medvedeva on November 7, 2025.

The couple talked about their relationship quite openly, but for a long time they did not disclose the details of their future wedding. In early June, Medvedeva announced that the celebration would take place on August 29, calling this date special for the couple.
