The artist's management also negotiated with me, back in June we discussed this, but their terms were not economically viable. They're too harsh, too expensive—$7-8 million for just one show. They didn't want to go to both cities, just one. Apparently, they agreed for $8-10 million for two shows in one stadium. Another thing that bothered me was the timing. The fact is that October-November is a very cold period for a stadium concert. I asked for other deadlines. They found a more accommodating promoter," Eduard Ratnikov, president and founder of the T.C.I. concert agency, told Izvestia.
At the same time, the price range for tickets is from 9 to 160 thousand rubles. The buyer did not keep himself waiting.
— I love this performer and have long dreamed of going to his concert, but before I had no opportunity to go to other countries where he performed. Therefore, as soon as there was a chance to buy tickets, I decided not to postpone, I took it on October 10th. I bought three at once, and there were difficulties with the places: it was not easy to find three places nearby, since the system constantly showed that the selected place was already occupied. It was possible to pay for the order only on the third attempt, an error occurred on the website. But it's good that when the page was updated, the order and the time for payment were saved, so in the end everything worked out," Anastasia Chabinskaya shared with Izvestia.
Just a couple of hours after the announcement, most of the tickets were redeemed. At the same time, resellers probably joined the business, and against the background of the hype, we should expect resales at more substantial price tags. At the same time, scammers have become more active.
— The typical activity of scammers is already being viewed: clone sites, bots, and social media pages are being created that collect contacts and prepayment. The hype around a possible performance is an ideal environment for scammers: people want to be able to buy a ticket before others and stop paying attention to the basic signs of suspicious offers," said Akhmetzhan Makhmutov, Deputy General Director of St. Petersburg Oil Terminal JSC, ex—Minister of Digital Development of the Vologda Region.
For credibility, scammers copy the design of real venues and use domains with the artist's name.
